Dear diary,
Today was stranger’s day in my house.
Five strangers visited us since morning. One was a fruit-seller lady, two were internet guys, and two men came to repair the AC.
They all came to our house one after the other, and I questioned all of them at the first sight of their entry.
I wanted to let them know that I am here to look after my home and to beware of me.
As they came to the door, I asked them so many questions, but all they could hear was bow-wow!
I kept barking at them until mama calmed me down and assured me everything’s fine.
Mama told me these people are our friends who get us tasty papayas to eat and help us with our work.
I was barking to protect our territory and mama allowed me to sniff them and be around them to investigate.
I was quietly observing them and let go off some barks in between as warning signs.
They were all kind people who were patiently waiting for mama to attend to them.
I got a peculiar scent from the repairing guys who were sweating from all the AC repairing work. They really needed a bath.
The fruit lady gave us sweet papayas. I chomped on 2 big pieces while the internet guys whistled at me doing their work happily.
They were all really good strangers. Well, they had to be. I was watching them closely.
