Dear diary,
Do you know anything about cats?
Well, watching my neighbour’s annoying cat almost every day, I have come to know many things about cats.
Usually, when a cat injures itself doing something once, it will self-correct and never do that thing again.
But that isn’t the case for me because I am not a cat.
As a little pup I loved to climb sofas, beds, window-sills, stairs, and places at least three times my height.
I used to enjoy the adventurous jumps from heights. It filled me with thrill and made me explore the unknown.
Fearless and carefree, I discovered many places in the terrace where I could have fun all day.
But one day I was in a mess and I met fear for the first time ever. And as humans say, you have to pay a price for fear, so I did.
Just a 3-month old me fell from the terrace and fractured a leg. I was petrified for as long as I can remember.
But my family’s care and love healed my fractured leg, and within a month I was as good as new.
Now I am a teenager that still loves to climb heights and sit on the flowerpots and peep from the roof.
These distressingly common occurrences give my mama minor heart attacks every single day.
You’d think after the first accident I must have learned a lesson, but no. I am not a cat, remember?
This is baby Hyena signing-off, sitting beside mama who is getting me a dog insurance to ensure my safe landing.
See you tomorrow again! Bye-bye! 🐾
