Dear diary,
I was missing the rainy days and guess what, today all of a sudden it rained in my city after so many weeks.
When it was raining at mid-night, I remembered mama telling me that these are the last few showers of the monsoon season. So, when it rained again in the evening today, I didn’t want to miss it.
Surprised to see the refreshing rain, I ran to the terrace while Tuffy and mama followed me.
Selfie refused and walked away with a loud expression of ‘I’m not going out in the rain’ on her face. She is too scared of water so she remains indoors when it rains.
Plus, Selfie is also scared of the umbrella.
But Tuffy, mama, and I love the rains and make the most of it while we are on the terrace.
Mama looks happy spinning the umbrella in the rain and spraying the water on us.
I have no idea what goes on in Tuffy’s mind while he walks confused in the rain, but I love the rains for many reasons.
When it rains, the moisture makes all the smells much stronger and I naturally notice this with my powerful sense of smell.
I also like to bite and lick the water droplets dripping from the shed and railing.
The wet grass in my secret hideout is a bonus on rainy days.
Our garden and play area looks brighter and cleaner after the shower and I like to run and play on the wet terrace.
This is baby Hyena signing-off, enjoying the last rains of the season.
See you tomorrow again! Bye-bye! 🐾
