Brave Indian army dog Alex lost his life in an operation in Kashmir

A 2-year-old Alex, a Belgian Malinois was a canine soldier of the army's elite assault dog squad.

Alex was a part of an anti-terror operation in Baramulla district In Kashmir, India

Pinpointing the location of the holed-up terrorist in a building, Alex protected the sanctity of a mosque in vicinity.

Once the operation was over, Alex's body was retrieved.

Alex's bravery saved the lives of the soldiers and made the operation successful.
